Big mas Big, sabes que é o único animal que não salta devido ao seu grande peso? Está magnifica.

Another stunning picture. Very nice background and a beautiful contrast between the yellow flowers and this impressive animal. Well done !!!

Linda! Digna de qualquer edição do National Geaographic, aliás como a maioria das fotos do Paulo. Excelente!

Wow! With the yellow flowers, this big one looks as if he's strolling through a garden. Outstanding!

Compare to this my images are very uninteresting. I love how the elephant is on one side.

This is so beautiful. Beside the main subject that is composed very well, the backgruond, a combination of yeloow flowers and blue sky is awesome. Great shot.

oooooo he is so huge and cute too !
I liked composition .. blue green colored horizon in background .. with some elephants .. yellow delicate flowers and a rock hard but soft hearted elephant in fore ground .. its so comparitive .. elephant is so huge and flowers are so small , though they are creation of on almighty ..
huge to small ..

Wonderful image Paulo great work.

Not only a perfect shot of an elephant, but also the composition and colors are perfect. All the flowers are like one single element, the background has just the right amount of blurr, makes it like a minimalist photo. Paulo The Master did it again, bravo!

400mm No wonder! I was getting worried about you when I renact the scenario of you taking a photo of that elephant. Anyway, TANZANIA, WOW!

Wow! This is an absolutely stunning image, Paulo! A fantastic capture -- and what presence it has! Great postprocessing, too.

WOW!!!! Paulo, you have done it again!!! This one is absolutely fanta-bulous!! Love it, love it, love it!! :)

the flowers and elephant work well. I don't find the overall yellow cast appealing.
18 Oct 2007 4:45am
Wonderful catch!
A bit too much yellow tint for my taste ;)

The yellow flowers in the field are just lovely, not to mention the awesome capture of this elephant! Your blog is truly one of the best collections of animal and bird photos I have ever seen! Bravo Paulo.
When you have some spare time (I know we all say we don't have any of that) please would you check out the aminus3 Members photo forum - you could give us some tips or just discuss your photos! I put a link to your blog up on the forum when you only had a few photos on it. I was so impressed - I had to do that! :-)

Fantastic composition...! well done! I love this subject but the colors for me are most saturated..
18 Oct 2007 5:35pm
The background looks almost like an etching or a painting. Very lovely. The yellow juxtaposes nicely with the grey of the elephant.
18 Oct 2007 10:56pm
Wow, this is a great photo. The colors are gorgeous.
19 Oct 2007 5:38am
é um camião da savana daqueles bem grandes, e estava tudo em flor o que ajudou à composição, bom trabalho.

Love your setting of the solitary elephant against the field of golden flowers. I even 'see' a small herd of elephants in the background cloud formation.
20 Oct 2007 2:52am
Só mesmo aqui se poderia encontrar um elefante no meio de um campo de flores amarelas. ;)
Linda! Linda! Linda! Linda! Linda!

Big é pouco. Huge is more like it. Gorgeous! E a composição n podia ser melhor, florzinhas amarelas... Parabens!

This is lovely and unusual. The yellow foliage is a wonderful contrast to the elephant.
